Janusz “Kuba” Morgenstern and Krystyna Cierniak-Morgenstern lived a long life in their house in Zoliborz, Warsaw. Seven years after Kuba’s death, Krystyna is isolated at the house where everything reminds her about him. The film tries to portray loneliness, by finding and reviving intimate memories and long kept secrets, of one of the most famous Polish film directors.
