Ophra Yerushalmi – pianist and documentary filmmaker, studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and later received a scholarship to study under Claudio Arrau and composer Stefan Wolpe. She has performed throughout the United States, South America and Israel, as well as in London, Edinburgh, Oxford, Venice, Paris, Madrid, Cracow, Budapest, Lisbon, Munich, Dresden, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore. Searching for Chopin by showing the participants within the context of their own work, Chopin’s Afterlife opens a variety of ways of confronting Chopin in our contemporary world, so different from Chopin’s own.
