Born in 1952. Director and screenwriter. Wroclaw Polytechnic (architecture) and Łódź Film School graduate (film directing). Laureate of numerous awards at Polish and International film festivals. Since 2002 – a lecturer at the Łódź Film School, since September 2008 – the Rector of this school.
