After college, Fred immediately moved to Los Angeles and started his career. He began working for other composers, doing midi programming, arranging, score preparation, orchestration and additional writing for various feature films, TV shows, video games, theme parks and music libraries. This includes Transformers 3, Need for Speed: The Run, Universal Studios Theme Park, Warner Bros’ Spy Hunter and Scooby-Doo! Wrestlemania Mystery 1 & 2. He also provided musical arrangements to Jackie Evancho’s Heavenly Christmas album.
In 2013, Fred earned an Emmy nomination for his work with PBS on P.O.V. He won Best Music Composition for HBO’s Grace TV show in the 2015 Apollo Awards.
Fred now has a considerable amount of industry experience including working as the film composer on House in the Alley & the Rich Woman by Kiet Lee, Busted Buggy Entertainment’s Magic Hour by Cole Mueller & staring Trevor Morgan and William Russ, a family adventure feature entitled Adventurer’s Club (Klub włóczykijów) by Tomasz Szafranski, and as a music arranger for the 87th Academy Awards.
Fred currently (2019) works on an animated TV show called Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero for Disney XD and Marvel’s Agents of Shield. He also is the composer for HBO’s original series Halfworlds.
