This film relates the story of the marital relationship of an elderly couple. His wife and the rest of his family consider the film’s protagonist, Jan, a hypochondriac. At first glance, it seems that the camera is just observing ordinary situations. With time though, one realizes that Jan is suffering from a serious depression, even contemplating suicide. However, a special cure comes out of nowhere leading to a miraculous recovery. John comes back to life.
