Alicja Schatton (born 1976) – director, writer and producer of documentaries. She is a graduate of German Philology at the Wroclaw University. She worked at first as a reporter for radio and TV stations; she has recently started focusing on documentaries. She is the author of several short documentaries. 2002 she become the German-Polish Prize winner for Journalists in Potsdam for a series of TV-documentary shorts. In 2009 she won the Prize for Young German and Eastern European Filmmakers from the Robert Bosch Foundation.
