A fascinating tale about people dwelling in a state of emotional lethargy. They live in catastrophic relationships and instead of running, they fade away. None of them has the courage to change their lives, yet they are aware that they can’t take it any longer. Róża is an actress but she can’t work because she suffers from narcolepsy. She suspects her husband is cheating on her yet she is afraid to face the problem. Adam, a young doctor, is tossed between loyalty to his parents and choosing his own way of life. Robert, a famous writer, faces a difficult trial… Coincidentally the protagonists’ paths cross and fate gives them a chance to break free from emotional narcosis.
