Jakub Giza was born in Krakow in 1980. Cinematographer. Graduate of the Film School in Łódź. Jakub also has a degree in Cultural Studies from the Jagiellonian University. He received two awards at the Kodak Student Commercial Contest in 2006 for his film The Game. In 2007 he participated in Polish Film Festival Los Angeles with his etude I See You Everywhere (Widzę cię wszędzie).
At the 2010 Camerimage Festival he was awarded Laszlo Kovacs Student Award – Golden Tadpole in Student Etudes Competition for I Won’t Be Here Tomorrow.
