Producer, director, screenwriter. Born in 1952 in Poznan. Graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University and Radio and Television Faculty of Silesian University. In 1981 he was assistant to Ryszard Bugajski while working on the film Interrogation in the X Film Group of Andrzej Wajda. In 2001 he established “WARTA-Film” production company. Most renowned for Się macie ludzie, documentary about famous Polish blues&rock singer Ryszard Riedel, The Way My Uncles Lived (Świat moich wujkow) and Forgotten Uprising (Zapomniane powstanie).
