Teresa a 30 something nurse works in a hospital looking after elderly , sick people. She lives with her parents and is having an affair with much older Jerzy, who works in the same hospital. Teresa dominated by her despotic mother, does not expect much from her life. When a girl from the neighborhood discovers abandoned love letters, a young man Janusz enters Teresa’s life.
