Marek Lechki


Born in 1975 in Brzeg Dolny, Poland. Director, screenwriter, and producer. Graduated from University of Silesia in Katowice (Radio and Television Dept., 2002). He won several awards for his student films and short documentary forms at various amateur film festivals. For My Town (Moje miasto, 2002), from the television series Generation 2000 (Pokolenie 2000), he received awards at key Polish film festivals in Gdynia, Koszalin, Tarnow, Lagow, and Krakow. Winner of the Wojciech J. Has Award (2003).

His debut feature film Erratum (2011) won many awards at international film festivals including Busan, Mar del Plata, Thessaloniki, Montevideo. From 2012 to 2015 he directed the series Pakt and Bez tajemnic for HBO.

Interior (2019) is his latest feature film.
