Born in 1982. In 2007 graduated from Electrical Engineering Faculty at Szczecin University of Technology. Over the years of 2001-2006 he shot his first amateur films. In 2006 he began studying film directing at the Łódź Film School.
His student documentary Charcoal Burners was screened at about 120 international festivals, and garnered recognition in the form of over 30 prizes and awards. Another of his short films, a fiction titled Normal People, premiered at the 51st Krakow Film Festival and was awarded the Silver Tadpole for cinematography at Plus Camerimage 2011. At 2014 Gijon International Film Festival, Spain for Mother Earth reseived Best Director Award.
