Prologue is a non-narrative video-poem collaboration between Polish composer and multimedia artist Adam Mankowski (http://www.llsnoise.pl) and Mark Tardi based on the poem “Prologue” from the book The Circus of Trust (Dalkey Archive Press, 2017). The aim of the video was to explore the triangulation of places in the book––Chicago, Chernobyl, and a dystopian future––and the various implied forms of architectural, bodily, environmental, and technological devastation within those orbits.
