Two stories about being lost. A woman, who “loses” her two stepchildren in Poland, cannot find a way to speak about what she has done in the presence of her husband. The children meet up with a traveling salesman who promises to bring them home, but his help proves to be unreliable. Meanwhile, the oblivious father begins the search for his children, accompanied by his wife.
