Tomasz Szafranski is a director and screenwriter, graduate of the Krzysztof Kieslowski Faculty of Radio and Television. He was born in Bydgoszcz, May, 4, 1977. Before making films he put on amateur plays, wrote stories and screenplays. He also was one of the organisers of the CAMERIMAGE Film Festival for Cinematographers in Torun and took a two-year course in cinematography in the CAMERIMAGE Film School.
