What’s between us?
When the day ends, the evening comes. When the week ends, the Friday evening comes. And then… desires meet. Set in Warsaw, the plot of Warsaw by Night starts on a Friday evening, lasts through the night and ends on a Saturday morning. On the Friday evening the city begins to throb with life. People gather round in pubs, clubs and discotheques… Couples emerge.
The film begins in “Warsaw”, a club in the city centre that serves as the meeting point of different generations. On every story in every room there is a bar, each of them in a different style and with different music. In every story, the character crosses the line and learns something about herself. The film depicts a yearning for love and for meeting a person one can be close to. It also shows that such meetings are always valuable even if they last only for a moment.
