Born in 1944 in Lodz. Film and television director and screenwriter. Studied history and philosophy at Lodz University. Graduated from Directing Department at Lodz Film School. Lecture at film schools in London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Lodz and Katowice. He ran the Direction Faculty at the National Film and television School in Great Britain (1992-94).
