Rysiek, after being released from prison, returns home to a poor village in a southwestern Poland. He did his time for robbing a wholesale company and beating the janitor. His parents are dead; his brother took over the family business. He also “took” Agata – Rysiek’s girlfriend. Rysiek decides to win his girlfriends back and get a job – not so easy for an ex-convict.
