Tomek Lechotycki, a rock band leader, visits his fatally ill father Ryszard in hospital. After his parents’ divorce Tomek did not get on well with his father, but now he wants to make his last days a bit more pleasant, so he invites him to a Father’s Day Party. Ryszard, who got soured and lost all his seance of humor, refuses to leave the hospital. Tomek asks his grandpa for help. Together they manage to persuade Ryszard that it might be fun. He finally agrees and they take a taxi to the airport, as it turns out that the party is going to take place at the seaside. Ryszard is furious – he hates flying. It is only his son’s scorns that make him board the plane. And this is just the beginning…
