Morning. A 70-year-old Wlodek finds a letter from his wife informing him of her leaving. This message causes shock. Wlodek looses consciousness and is taken to the hospital. The next day, at the hospital he is visited by his son Pawel and a teenage grandson Maciek. Pawel is the pianist and lives in Berlin, while Maciek lives with his mother in England, where he attends school. Pawel and Maciek have not been in touch for a long time. They are indignant about the fact that their mother and grandmother left for another man. The two decide to find her and bring her home…
