Story
Winter is harsh in the Swiss Jura region and it seems interminable to Jean and Laure, who lost their little girl in a fire that devastated their barn a few month earlier.
Unable to cope with her loss, Laure undertakes a treatment in a clinic. Trying to forget his feeling of guilt, Jean thinks about selling the farm. Finally, despite his fear of the fire, he goes off to work at a foundry in the near town. There he meets some Kosovar refugees, among them Labinota, whose husband went missing during the war. She is stong, courageous and sensitiv. Thanks to her and her brother Kastriot, Jean discovers another way of living with his fears and heartbreak. by sharing their pain, little by little, Jean and Labinota come closer to each other. At the same time Laure is getting better and wishes to meet Jean.
