Born in Bydgoszcz in 1956. Film director and screenwriter. He graduated from Łódź Film School. He is a teacher in Warsaw Film School. He has also directed documentaries, music videos and TV series. He also completed the Master Class in Film Direction run by Andrzej Wajda at the Theater Academy in Krakow. The French Trick is his feature debut.
