Roma King was born in Poland. She lived with her parents in eight countries before settling in the United States, in the Los Angeles area. Roma was an Academic Advisor for the Departments of Fine Arts and Design/Media Arts at UCLA. She loved her work, working with UCLA students for almost 30 years. She now devotes all her time to her family, friends, and travel, and volunteering for many community projects. In addition to “Footsteps in the Snow“, the true account of her father’s amazing and daring journey to rescue his family from Siberia, Roma has written 3 children’s books: “Safari“, “My Guardian Angel” and “Grace Makes Potato Pancakes“.
