The year is 2055. The famous cosmonaut Ijon Tichy is to deliver a speech in the Pan-Slavic Parliament against the introduction of the Extra-terrestrial Human Regulations. Representatives of the ruling party and the government itself are trying to prevent this occurrence. Ijon is trapped into his hotel room, it turns out that the newest weapon is being tested on it, causing the multiplication of characters. Unfortunately, instead of looking for a way out, Ijon argues with himself and cannot come to an agreement, which leads to more and more absurd events.
