Tereska, a 15 year old girl, learning to be a dressmaker, lives with her parents in a typical urban area of blocks of flats. Her family is a typical one too – her father occasionally crooks the elbow, while her mother finds consolation in religion. In their flat the TV is on all the time. Tereska dreams of being a fashion designer, and as she can draw skillfully, her dream may come true in the future. However, she cannot expect love and support from her parents. Edzio, a disabled doorman is the only person who can understand her. Tereska tries to find acceptance outside her family. She makes friends with Renata, who teaches her how to smoke cigarettes, drink wine, steal and kiss boys. Her other new friends are even less acceptable. The dreams of a great love end up tragically…
